Hello there : D

So...are there any tricks? I downloaded some OVA's with .exe files to start them. But most of them just don't work. The only thing that happens is that an error message pops up with a whole load of japanese signs and even more question marks.

I really don't know what to do. I can't read questionmarkish o_o

Glad if anybody could help me :3

Are the OVAs in a standard video format, like MKV or AVI? If so, have you tried running the OVAs themselves, instead of the EXE file?

It is weird that you downloaded a *.exe file, such file isn't a movie/audo file, you could change the extension to avi/mp4/mkv and try to play the file again. If this doesn't works then the file is probably a corrupt file or mostly a ''virus'', because viruses are mostly exe files. (use mediainfo [google it if you don't know this program] after you change the extension to get more information about the file if it is a video/audio file).

also If you are a geek you could open this exe file, with a hexeditor to read the machine code of this program.

Where did you get the .exe file from? I think you forget to remove the "thick" mark when downloading and you ended up download the downloader from the hosting instead of the video file.

It's dangerous to open that file. where did you get your files anyway? Some filehosts have fake files that installs malware to your computer. I was once a victim of that and it throttled my internet speed, blocked my sites and i got an e-mail containing, i may be a victim of a backdoor virus. My kaspersky found the malicious .DLL that the .exe installed the next week but it took me a long time to update all my account passwords.
