It depends how you interpret sequels. Generally people nowadays hype a game to the sky and when it "didn't" live up to the expectation they will immediately reject the game and compare it heavily to the old one, I think you shouldn't expect too much and get a pleasant surprise instead...that's the way I look at it xD
