Looking for anime to watch

I am trying to find an anime where a guy ends up either living with or having a close relationship with a girl who just kind of shows up, like sumomomo momomo.

The information that you've given is pretty vague. By 'shows up', do you mean pops out of nowhere or she appears later on in the story?

pops up out of nowhere usually within the first episode or two. a lot of the time there is also a childhood friend who is also a love interest

It would help if you remembered some facial features, an approximate year it aired, any elements like magic or mystery...

it has been a while since I have seen to-love ru, I may try that again. and Renano I am not looking for a specific one but any anime recommendation based on those, I tried to make it vague so you could bring up all the anime like that from your memory :) or list however you remember what you have watched.
