Do you play itch.io otome games once they're fully released or while in development too?
Personally, I only play them once I know they're fully released or at least have a few complete endings because I don't like the feeling of an unresolved story, or having to wait, which I'm terrible at, haha.

. It's better for your heart to wait for the games to be finished there. To play on a somewhat finished game (that you trust the development) or a full release, because there are many authors that leave only a demo and then disappear ಥ‿ಥ.
maybe life got in the way or devs lost interest but it's still sad seeing smth with unrealized potential that once caught your interest being discontinued. i have a few demos i'm waiting on rn, i hope i'll still want to play them once they get released lol
