My dog goes to the vet once every 2 moths for examination... I often bring them to hunt with me across the country any way.. So that's what I can do for them..

Just make sure your hamster's cage clean and his food doesn't contain any bad or rotten things... That's what makes a pet sick (mostly..), a dirty cage or their foods...

You really need to take him to the vet for some examination. If private vet too costly, try the government's one (if your place have any). Have you try the SPCA? Contact them, email or phone call, and ask for their advice.

And I don't know about government vets, the government irritates me... but that's a whole different discussion for a different day xD
