i believe i can't speak for anyone, we all have different experiences and different sensitivity levels. it is a very heavy game but i can agree with the sentiment that it's not as 'intense' as i expected. it's a very contemplative vn.
suicide will be openly discussed (and graphically depicted in certain endings) but it's also treated sensibly. it's a work that has a lot of sympathy for those struggling with suicide ideation, i can assure you it didn't feel gratuitous to me but if you're in a bad place maybe give it some time/pass this one.
the endings where the characters die aren't very long compared to ones where they live (there are alternative alive endings too!) but the cgs can get pretty bloody (masaya and meiyou's in particular, i did struggle a bit with those). i didn't skip them because i wanted to see everything the vn had to offer but you can definitely choose to do so, if you want.
i'd love for more people to read club suicide (yes, even with that terrible english translation..) but everyone should take care of themselves too, if you think it's not for you it's okay to skip it. or if it's not a good time, there's always later! it will be waiting for you.
