How to run Windows XP Visual Novel? [えむぴぃ Maid promotion Master]

I tried to install an old Windows 98/Me/2000/XP-made visual novel "えむぴぃ Maid promotion Master", but after running after successful setup, it showed me this error: imgur. com /a/gwtEcNd

I'm being told I don't have the right files, but I am using Windows 7 with all the latest drivers, so why does it not work? I already set my Region and Language location to "Japan" configuration.
Is it because I am using a Windows 7 instead of XP/98/2000/Me OS?

Did you bought the game or download it?

That looks more like a protection problem than a problem related to your OS. I did some research and found that this game used AlphaRom v.3 protection. Maybe you'll want to try the AlphaRom Signup or AlphaRomDie tool. Don't know where to get that myself though.
