How important is the visual style of otome to you?

pretty important, actually! ♡ i'm a sucker for beautiful art styles, and if the character designs are gorgeous, i'm already halfway sold 😭 but a good story and lovable characters can still win me over even if the art isn't exactly my taste (´꒳`)

For Games: It's a make or break for me, the art and style is often the first impression I get of the character followed by their VA and then their personality.

For Drama CD: 50/50, I get an idea on the vibe of the CD and sometimes I figure out what to expect and the genre by the cover alone but after that my brain won't think much about it and more about the content of the Drama CD

Art style is very important to me.
Even if there's a good story and great voice acting, if I don't like the art style, I give up halfway...
In the opposite case, I'll skip ahead and play through to the end.

the visual style is pretty important to me too!!! 😭 If I don't like the art style it's really hard for me to get interested in a game even if the story is good But I've also learned that I shouldn't judge a game by its visuals alone because sometimes the story and characters end up surprising me...

Visual style isn't that important to me🫤 I care more about the story. As long as the plot or character designs interest me, I don't mind the visual style at all, but if a game only has nice visuals, I probably couldn't get into it...

it's quite important to me because i looked at the visual first before the seiyuu and storyline, but if i found the storyline is kinda meh later on then i will drop it regardless how pretty the visual/artstyle is T.T

Surprisingly, I don't think visual styles have influenced me in terms of deciding whether to play a game or not. Most times I choose games for their voice cast.

I think it's the icing on the cake~ I'm the type that love unraveling the plots of the story instead of looking at the visual~ ദ്ദി˶˃ ᵕ ˂ )✧

The story and premise is more likely to grab my attention. I've played and enjoyed games that don't have like 100% polished art or that I don't like the artsyle of so while a beautiful art style would be nice, it's not that much of a dealbreaker to me.

Also, there's things to account of visually such as character designs, color palettes, bgs, cohesiveness, the UI elements, etc so even if I don't like an art style, I may find something that I like about it lol.

Ngl, since I've been playing otome games for a long time, I don't really mind any particular art style. I care more about the voices, lol, and the story comes second.
