Finished the game! (It was a short free game that was clearly made with a lot of love

) It was certainly an interesting experience and I'd need to spend a lot of time and words explaining how it was such a wild ride so I'll not go into the details...

this was my brief post-route thought in the order I played:
1. Childhood friend: Classic childhood friend to the rescue route. Cute enough!
2. Blood-loving stalker creep:

snoozefest, not sure why I needed a route of him tho it does reveal more on what's going through that rotten head of his. heroine ends up drugged/brainwashed.
3. Crossdressing co-worker: "????????????? WHAT IS THIS END? " was what i thought after this route. His route epilogue shows them receiving a letter saying "I'm coming to find you" (with CG of the letter) and ends with a fade to black + ominous shattering sfx

???? did not need stalker-creep hijacking another route kthxbye
4. Inferiority complex red herring: Dude works really hard but can't beat childhood friend-kun in studies anyway and harbours an inferiority complex bout it. he initially approached the heroine to have something he could beat childhood friend at but ends up having his heart stolen instead. His route ends with heroine having to choose btw childhood friend and him, and childhood friend admits defeat and says he will respect heroine's decision after she takes I-kun's hand. route epilogue shows their wedding and childhood friend is the only one invited over to help take the wedding photo cos they have no money for a grand wedding. ending cg shows the couple smiling happily and childhood friend kun facing them with a gun behind his back and concludes with C-kun declaring that he's finally going to make the heroine happy

At this point i was like ?!?!? but this is not the end of the game
4 diaries unlock and basically show childhood friend's pov throughout each route till the epilogue. He does trash/stalker cleaning each route (~~tho in some routes he's the trash~~).

I'll just jump straight to the epilogue
Diary 1 (Stalker's route): C-kun has located the couple and is ready to get rid of S-kun and laments it will be hard to get heroine out of her brainwashed state. he'll do it anyway tho, he has promised to make her happy.
D2 (His own one): He's thankful that the heroine is finally willing to accept a life with him (heroine doesnt feel like she's a good fit for him since she's an ex-noble in debt). He has worked hard to become the perfect man she likes and promises to bring her happiness
D3 (Trap-kun): Trap-kun is stalker-kun's non-blood related older brother and there was some unresolved conflict in his route with him. In the epilogue, childhood friend has located the couple and he sent a letter to them, knowing full well they would think that was a letter from the stalker. ~~i totally thought so too~~ C-kun declares that he is ready to bring her happiness

D4 (I-kun): Dude does not understand why the heroine chose I-kun and does not accept it. He acts like he does tho cause he knows how stubborn the heroine is and that she won't back down from her choice. Years after his rejection, he writes in his diary that he has worked extra hard all these years to become a perfect man and that today is the day of Heroine and I-kun's wedding. His goes to the wedding, to bring the heroine happiness, he writes...

(doesn't really make sense considering how it should be obvious that she's not going to be thrilled)
And this is still not the end of the game O-o
5 stories unlock, showing the ML's past + epilogue from ML's POV story 1
(I-kun): nothing interesting in the past, saddest part was seeing how happy they are in the epilogue (wedding day) knowing he's gonna be shot

(this kid was my fav too)
story 2 (Trap-kun): trapkun has a horrible stepfather who beats him up and forces him to do all sort of dirty work. Dad picks up Stalker-kun one day and Trap-kun now has a new baby brother. S-kun makes a lot of mistake at work, blames T-kun for the mistakes, but T-kun just take the blame anyway to protect S-kun whom he sees as someone who should be protected. One day, Dad asks T-kun to dispose of a tortured girl and he couldn't do it. S-kun was like "let me do it then ^^" and brutally destroys the girl. That's when T-kun realises that baby bro isn't someone to be protected, he's a carbon copy of the monster dad. He runs away from home that day. In the epilogue, he reflects that he loves the heroine a lot and will def protect her, even if it costs his life.

story 3 (Stalker-kun): S-kun is psychopathic from birth, probably. first of all, he killed his blood brother by shoving him off the mountains (they were star gazing), citing that he thought his brother "looked bored". he got chased out the village and got picked up by the aforementioned Dad. he doesn't understand why Big Bro takes the blame for his mistake at work and accepts the beating without ratting him out and thought it'd be interesting to see how far he can go and starts making mistakes at work deliberately.

anyway, his Dad ended up liking him more than all the other kids and teaches him etiquette and other cool stuff. Other kids still do dirty work tho. One day he discovers that his Big Bro's work comprises murder and begs to try that out but Dad said "No, that's for shita ppl". skipping other details, in the epilogue, he remarks that his Big Bro is still alive as he lied to Dad that he killed him the day he ran away from home

Story 4 (C-kun): C-kun has terribly controlling parents who sees him as a tool and berates him for not acting like the doll they want. his mum tells him about his engagement one day and he's not happy bout it but his mum is upset and forces him to say he is happy to be engaged. he wants to marry someone his chooses and feels v stifled by his environment. separately, he loves butterflies but his dad just calls em disgusting and killed his fav butterflies. one day, he sees this cute girl (heroine) in the garden who calls a butterfly that landed on her cute. he's like "

someone who likes what i like! someone who can like me for what i am!" he goes up to introduce himself and learnt that she's his fiancé. he's suddenly thrilled bout the engagement

he asks her what type of guy she likes (she said someone who is "good at sports, academics, a perfect man + someone who is friendly and gets along with everyone") and he decided to become that perfect guy, because he feels she is deserving of that. anyway, heroine's fam ends up financially ruined one day, the engagement is cancelled, and C-kun hates that his parents wants him to switch partner even when he says he just wants the heroine so he threatens to kill himself if they refuse to accept the heroine as his wife.

his parents relented eventually so his goal is now to just make the heroine return his feelings, and he promises to continue becoming her perfect dream guy
