Fantasy or everyday otome?

Fantasy otome feels more mysterious because it's so different from reality, which I think is great!

It depends for me. I personally prefer fantasy in otome games, but if it's drama cd, I prefer everyday theme! I think it is because fantasy characters are difficult to act

I lovee fantasy. but I'd also prefer to have more light-hearted fantasy rather than "the end of the world" type of games.

I enjoy both! But if I had to choose, I'd say I lean more into everyday otome nowadays. I do love me some plot heavy and world building in fantasy otome games, but rn I just like to chill with some more grounded everyday otome that gives me that slice-of-life feel. Not too high stakes or dramatic, but just enough drama and conflict to still make the storyline engaging for a bibliophile like me while also making the setting still realistic

Both I guess, I enjoy the fantasy as long as it's not ridiculous, not a big fan of school romance, just as I'm older and want more of an older story.

fantasy is the best, i cant get enough of new world building everytime i play a new game, but at the same time playing fantasy reminds me of how boring my daily life is and how i wish i have a little power they had lol.

I tend to prefer fantasy-genre works. With slice-of-life stories, I find myself analyzing things too realistically, which sometimes makes it hard for me to just enjoy them.

definitely fantasy! i just do not really vibe with modern real life settings in otome games. i prefer getting immersed in fictional worlds with magic and other fantasy elements. if i want something closer to real life then i can just experience that in real life xc
