I've remade the translation using my new DSLR translation engine prototype.

Edit: That prototype was a bit of a failure, I'm planning to redo this translation with a better one soon.

Edit2: Updated thread with better translation.

The idea is to give the AI an additional context prompt that lists the characters of the game and their pronouns.
The main issue is that given how RPG Maker works, it never really sees more than a single dialogue box, which means their names aren't always used, and Japanese does not have pronouns like English does. You are supposed to know by context.

I could keep everything it translated beforehand as an assistant prompt, but the problem is that the entries in the files aren't actually in the same order as they show up in game, so that could actually really confuse the AI instead of helping it. Also the more context I give it with each attempt the more tokens the provider would charge, so that gets expensive really quick.

So basically while I can improve it in the future, I don't think I can ever fully fix it (automatically).

Edit: I made some tests with limited backlog context and the result "seems" better.
I'll implement that in the next translations.
