Dumbest reason you bought/played a game

So back when Billy Hatcher came out, the commercial for it had a song. And I was like, "I gotta hear that whole song." And for some reason I assumed that the song would be played at the end of the game. And I thought, "You know what, if I like that song so much, the game has to be even better." I was wrong on both counts.

Darn you commercials! :swearveng:

... When I bought the game and it was in a language I definitely didn't understand and should of actually filed a return so I can get my money back. At the time I didn't have a car or a driver licence so that went poof. Oh another one is when I didn't bother to wait and buy the game cheaper. Now I look back at it. I kind of want to face palm at that moment.

Being young is like being on an adventure where you're going to make a ton of mistakes you didn't want to do.

A given mission, mechanical assault, manufactured devotion.
Red eyes, an upside-down form. Even the twisted shape was made to be that way.
No matter how cruel the slaughter, worse than a demon's,
or how gentle the kindness, greater than an angel's,
a machine has neither will nor madness—only code, and a few bugs.
So why, then, does it feel so unbearably sad?
