Do you use the Auto Play function when reading VNs?

Normally, I don't, but from time to time I do because it's convenient to use it to have both hands free.
 
Only when I'm eating and playing at the same time? If there's voice acting, I sometimes turn it on and treat it like watching a movie.
 
No, I rarely listen to voice messages. I prefer to manually click on the screen. Automatic playback is a bit slow for me.
 
Rarely used. As the poster said, I always feel that the autoplay speed is difficult to be satisfactory; most of the time I think it is too slow.
 
I prefer to read at my own pace — sometimes I need more time to soak in a scene or a line of dialogue, and Auto Play either feels too slow or too fast.
I like having full control over when to advance the text, especially during emotional or story-heavy moments. 😊
 
Depends of the situation. I'm actuallty like using auto mode bc i'd love for listening to their voices. Moost of the games I've played are in Japanese so I can intersperse it with by learning more new kanji. But ofc I'll click manually when I want to speed up to the next scene.
 
I'm more comfortable pressing button w, I'm to lazy to custom the auto mode sped (⁠＠⁠_⁠＠⁠;⁠)
 
No never used it. Many times I need some time to enjoy expression or phrases :ROFLMAO:
 
Sometimes when I'm playing for hours and just want to lay down. Better, if there's voice acting, it's like watching an anime but it's interactive.
 
I always used to activate it by accident XD I feel like clicking or pressing a key when reading normally helps the lines 'register' in my head in a way.
 
I like to read at my own pace, so I tend to click through quickly without even listening to the voice lines. Because of that, I almost never use autoplay. The only time I might use it is when I'm tapping away at a mobile game at the same time.
 
Normally I don't; it tends to be pretty janky most of the time? I can probably count in one hand the amount of times I've tried to sit back and read like that. I do appreciate when there's an option to adjust the speed and other settings regarding auto mode though!
 
I used the auto mode before, but I still didn't really feel comfortable with it. Sometimes it was too fast, sometimes too slow, and I couldn't keep up even after adjusting the speed. So in the end, I just tap to read it later, sentence by sentence :)
 
no cuz i prefer reading at my own pace sometomes i read fast and dont feel like waiting it out, or sometimes i read slower and miss the text if it were on autoplay
 
I often use the Auto Play. It's not quite my usual pace, but it's nice not having to press any buttons, and I can focus on the story.
