Do you use a guide or go in blind when playing otome games?

Honestly I kind of wish I was better about not using guides...^^' I think I spoil things for myself sometimes haha but I like to make sure I get the good endings, since those are what I'm playing for! And I often don't actually play the bad endings unless I need to unlock something, I've been traumatized one too many times...

For the very first playthrough, I play without looking at any information; from the second time onwards, I use a walkthrough to pursue a different route.

I like to see where my choices lead me first, then if I get stuck after a couple of playthroughs, I have no choice but to look for a guide. Especially if there are different endings to get.

First run is always blind—no guides, no spoilers, I wanna feel all the natural reactions from my own choices. After I finish my main bias's route, I grab guides to knock out the rest of the endings and collect all CGs fast. Random trial-and-error gets tiring when I'm just filling out the gallery, so guides save so much unnecessary replaying. I only ignore the walkthrough if I'm super interested in another love interest's story to hold onto some surprises.
