Do you prefer softer/realistic romances or intense ones?

I LOVE BOTH!!! it's so hard to choose... i absolutely adore fluff and slow burns, but the intense romance is so interesting and dramatic, so i like it too!! Both make my heart go thump-thump hehe, but i find that a lil bit of both in each route is just perfect. A lovely balance!

I prefer sweet love stories. Sometimes intensity leads to toxic behavior, and I've already got enough of that in my own life, hahaha. I love soft stories.

A love that grows steadily over time is certainly wonderful, but I also really like love stories with a sense of fate. However, this shouldn't just be a depiction of love within the broad framework of the world-building; the focus on that sense of fate should lie in the evolution of the emotional connection between the characters.

I think it depends on how I feel that day! If the story is well-written and the narrative is solid, I also like soft and sweet, realistic pairings like those of lovers. Or I also enjoy intense, thrilling stories about love between humans and non-human beings, like those set in another world

I might have slight preference for softer/slow burn romances. There's something satisfying, seeing them slowly unfold over time, but it's not that I wouldn't enjoy an intense roller coaster ride. Everything depends on the execution. I would prefer a well written intense romance over a trashy soft realistic one anytime, and vice versa, a fine-tuned slow burn romance over a nonsensical thrilling one.

I think I lean more towards intense romances, especially when it comes to possessive or clingy LIs (¬‿¬) ♡ I do enjoy softer romances too, but I guess I need a little intensity to keep things exciting! At the same time, I really appreciate it when the relationship has a believable emotional foundation and you can understand why the characters fall for each other. I love it when an LI is completely devoted to the MC, especially when one of my favorite VAs is involved hehe (๑˃ᴗ˂)ﻭ

I generally prefer healthy, calm, and realistic romances; however, I think the rapid plot progression unique to fiction is part of the fun, so I tend to enjoy intense romance genres more.

Honestly depends on my mood! I usually go for soft, realistic romance when I want to relax, but if I need something thrilling to keep me on the edge of my seat, intense ones win every time
