Do you prefer softer/realistic romances or intense ones?

I LOVE BOTH!!! it's so hard to choose... i absolutely adore fluff and slow burns, but the intense romance is so interesting and dramatic, so i like it too!! Both make my heart go thump-thump hehe, but i find that a lil bit of both in each route is just perfect. A lovely balance!

I prefer sweet love stories. Sometimes intensity leads to toxic behavior, and I've already got enough of that in my own life, hahaha. I love soft stories.

A love that grows steadily over time is certainly wonderful, but I also really like love stories with a sense of fate. However, this shouldn't just be a depiction of love within the broad framework of the world-building; the focus on that sense of fate should lie in the evolution of the emotional connection between the characters.

I think it depends on how I feel that day! If the story is well-written and the narrative is solid, I also like soft and sweet, realistic pairings like those of lovers. Or I also enjoy intense, thrilling stories about love between humans and non-human beings, like those set in another world

I might have slight preference for softer/slow burn romances. There's something satisfying, seeing them slowly unfold over time, but it's not that I wouldn't enjoy an intense roller coaster ride. Everything depends on the execution. I would prefer a well written intense romance over a trashy soft realistic one anytime, and vice versa, a fine-tuned slow burn romance over a nonsensical thrilling one.
