Do you look at otome game artbooks?

[Shuyi🤍]

Peak character design and also draft designs? sign me up! Artbooks are the best and I like to appreciate the characters in full design and of course at other angles and their spirtes.

If it's from one of my favorites, I'd definitely look for it.

I do indeed. I sometimes hunt them down too. I especially really like when RPG games have art books as a special edition.

yes if it had peak artsyle

If a favorite illustrator participated or the art style is exquisite. That's interesting to see the original artist's work process. It's a different game, but I really liked the art style of Persona 3 Reload, so I once bought the art book.

Of course, my favorite part of otome artbooks is character design showcase. I love seeing the variations of sprites, the full body of each characters, their draft designs and sometimes their accessories (if they have one).

[Sacchie]

absolutely yes when I love the artstyle and chara designer <3
but sometimes even if it's not my fave artstyle, I'm still looking at it to read some of the extra and snippets they usually put in the book, like why they design it that way, draft version that did not made it to final game, comments from the designer and other staff for each characters, really love that part <3

If I really love a game, I even look for the art book. Checking out all the detailed lore makes the story hit even harder.

Yes, especially if I like the artist and their works
