Do you look at otome game artbooks?

I love looking at the artbook. I find it intrigued seeing the beauty and uniqueness of every detail poured into the illustrations by the artist in the artbook

I always try to get the QuinRose artbooks since they have original comics in them!

looking at the artbook after playing the game is fun, it gives more immersive experience in my opinion
i'm also more used to the digital artbooks and it's rare to see physical copies

only if i absolutely loved the art style, otherwise i don't really look for them or see them

Sometimes! If I really enjoy the characters and the game, I'll look for an artbook. Otherwise, I'm not that interested.

I do buy the artbooks for the games and art I really enjoy. I only got Code Realize and Virche Evermore at the moment.

Yes, If I really like the game. I would love to see them more in the art book.

I do! I actually own the Hakuoki artbook (one and only artbook lol), and it's one of my favorite things to flip through. I love seeing the official sketches.

I like it😊

I have a few, but I cherish them✨

Beautiful illustrations, detailed character settings, etc. will make you want to collect!

But even if I want you to know about the work later, there are some things that I can't get because the sale has ended and the price is soaring😢

That said, some artbooks do have really beautiful production sketches, alternate outfit designs, or even cut content that can be super interesting. But yeah, they're not for everyone, and they can be pricey too.

I love beautiful art so if I really love the art style and characters I will look into buying them. But they are pretty expensive so I only have a few..

Yes!! Especially when I really love the game, I'll want to buy art books or CD released for it, and if the price is right, I'll even get them for my collection.
Because some out-of-print art books and CD are outrageously expensive.

I even save the pictures on my phone. Although I don't use them as wallpapers, I still open my photo album from time to time just to look at them.

I do, but I mostly look at unused design examples or CG variations. Artbooks often include creative team interviews too, but I'm not much interested in stories behind creation process. Although if I didn't understand something in a story, there where times when it revealed new information and helped with clarification

I'm particularly fond of visual merchandise, so artbooks are right at the top of my list. They can often be hard to get hold of or very expensive, though—but the desire is definitely there!

Yes!
I find the process of character designs coming together and the rough sketches fascinating.

I'm broke as hell LOL but if I could afford them I would, I've been trying to find scans for the Virche one with little success, despite all its flaws the artstyle, visuals, and general aesthetic of the game is honestly the best I've seen in otome.

I enjoy looking at art books because they usually contain a lot of background settings and personal reflections, along with more detailed character designs. However, only a few otome games release art books—most don't, which feels a bit regrettable.

I wish I could but I'm broke
this is the realistic answer T_T also I feel like I'd only actually buy one if it has extra story content/side stories with it? or any behind-the-scenes comments etc maybe i'm confusing artbook with sourcebook. but either way if I love the character design/art/story I would consider buying honestly

I'm also very interested in art books for games supervised by people I admire! However, as everyone says, they're expensive, so I can't easily buy them
