Do you look at otome game artbooks?

I'm broke :( but owning artbooks of my favorite games have always been goals for me, so hopefully once my financial situation allows it! (But honestly I might go crazy and buy too many books lol)

I especially love Virche's artstyle♡

Yes, I absolutely love artbooks.

I have a few hard copies, while the digital one I get them from everyone sharing theirs here (I'm really grateful). Sometimes I even collect artbooks from games I don't even play, like Bloodborne. It's amazing to see the creativity, from the various character concept designs to the director's commentary on specific scenes. I love looking through them, and they serve as great references.

I am definitely going through the artbook after I am done with game.
Once I looked through the art book before completing the game and got spoiled about one of the characters... Never repeating the same mistake

I look at a few, usually if I like the game enough. Also, I am also a sucker for hanamura mai's art so that too.

I enjoy looking through artbooks, especially when they include design drafts and commentary. It's always interesting to see which characters the designer nailed immediately and which characters changed a dozen times before the official design was settled.

Yes, absolutely! There are so many artists whose work I adore, such as Kazuki Yone, Miko, Usuba Kageroo, Hanamura Mai etc. I own some artbooks, some of them are more... collection of works of a certain artist while others more game-focused.

Only when I absolutely love the game and find myself itching for more content. I do apreciate extra art, but I prefer to save up the money.

For works I really enjoy, yes. Like always I enjoy full content than missing content from my favourites. Extra artworks, and sketches etc what's there not to like?

I Love Them ! ! !
I Buy Them Then Read Them Over And Over ~
But Oversea Shipping Is Hell Nowadays . . . . . .

I Forever Tip My Hat To The Scanners That Actually Preserve Physical Copies , Because That Process Is HELL ! ! ! ! !

I'll check out the artbook if it's a game I really enjoyed, but otherwise I don't really go out of my way to look at them.

I used to, but otome games these days have been kind of dead so I lost interest and just stick to whatever doujin circles make

I can't say that I do. Most of the games I've played don't have artbooks. And as for the few games that do, I guess I just didn't enjoy them enough for me to check out their artbooks.
Yes, If I like the art style I will do it ! And I will collect other things like ost, special offer, fan disc and so on, if I really enjoy the game. 😆😆

Is collective buy thing even a thing for this segment of otome? I know that back in the day people used to collect money and buy Drama CD they wanted, I recall seeing groupings all over Tumblr
