Do you have a character archetype that you're drawn to?

I like *tsundere* and *kuudere* characters.
I love the way they gradually open up.
 
Childhood friends (=^-ω-^=) They play on my feelings real bad. I can't help but want to give all my love to the character who has known the MC the longest, even better if they're a bit possessive over that fact.

I'm so basic when it comes to that 🙈 Actually, I usually like the tsundere, kuudere, and genki types the best—though the "short kings" have a certain appeal of their own, too.
 
In my case, I often find myself drawn to cheerful, energetic characters.
Of course, there are times when I'm attracted to a different type based on looks alone...
But I really have a soft spot for the kind-hearted goofball type.
 
I'm drawn to sweet, clingy characters, especially the ones who try to hide their feelings a bit when they're jealous or flustered 🌌 ~
 
The types of characters I'm drawn to haven't really changed over the years.
Someone who looks after others, someone who wears glasses, or someone who speaks a dialect—almost every character I like fits at least one of these three criteria.
 
tsunderes and kuuderes for sure. i also love cute and funny characters who turn out to be absolute assholes/villains at some point in the story

i used to always go for childhood friends if there's one. they give a sense of closeness and safety, like someone who understands the MC and will never hurt her. tho my opinion's changed since i met obsessive childhood friends (such as the caged man), now i just go for any LIs who is cute lol

I like eccentric airheads, similar to whatever was going on with Kei CxM. If there's one in the cast I'll probably latch onto them...

Looks-wise, I tend to like guys with heavy bangs and droopy eyes, or short-haired guys with sharp, upturned eyes.
I guess I'm generally drawn to tall characters…
 
I'm especially drawn to guys who aren't used to being around women, or who are usually cool but sometimes act a little clingy, so I tend to choose that type.
I'm not a fan of sadists, so it's hard to find someone who fits my preferences…

Okay; so it's definitely an archetype, but idk what it's called. They're the ones who are free spirited but also a little strange? An example would be Misumi Ikaruga from A3! Or Towa Otonashi From Tokyo Debunker. I just think it's cute how genuine and sweet they are, while simultaneously having no self awareness and all the confidence in the world.
 
Probably both the tsundere and kuudere types. Plus the charming a-holes (YANG) lol!
 
Lately I've been gravitating toward Yanderes. Like I'm actively searching and consuming works with these type of characters. If I were to dig deeper on the why, I think I'm at a point in my media consumption where I get excited seeing a character be that devoted (obsessed of course is more like) and I find it fun seeing just how crazy it can get with these characters lol
