Do you have a character archetype that you're drawn to?

Whenever I play an otome or any game that involves a LI I found myself wanting to romance a bully character whenever possible and I wonder if people are like this too... Many of my friends usually only go for visual aspects of a character, but I just can't help but have a very heavy personality preference. ALSO ALSO this follows me outside of media that involve dating too . i think I'm just a sucker for evil mean characters ummm #needselfreflection maybe.

TLDR; Do you have an archetype preference? If so what? If not why, and do you have another preference?

I do like nerdy, silent typa guys heheh. So for personality archetype on otome games I'd go for kuudere. Personal favorites among kuudere on otomes are Sakuya (Yoshiwara Higanbana), Zebenera (Matsurika), and ofc the classic otome kuudere: Kent (Amnesia)

and can i ask which otome LIs who bullies/teases the protagonist you meant (probably enemies to lovers trope)? i felt like i don't see much of them these days. could be because i love playing old games haha. some LIs that I've played and have this personality archetype is Akito (also from Yoshiwara) and Suren (Koezaru wa Akai Hana). maybe i also love this archetype since i love their banter with mc so much <3

My friend pays attention to the appearance and dress of the characters, and the first impression determines the order of the strategy.

I attach importance to the connotation of characters. I don't have to be a good person or a righteous hero. He can be a "principled" bad guy: for example, he runs a business guild with a bad reputation, but he has his own set of principles and knows how to use his brain and flexible negotiation skills to achieve his goals, etc. Bad characters can also be very charming.

I don't really have one specific type, but I'm definitely drawn to characters with a sense of contrast or hidden depth. I love it when someone who seems perfect or distant at first gradually reveals a softer, shy, or more playful side as you get to know them.

On the other hand, I'm also attracted to cheerful, easygoing characters who turn out to have a strong sense of responsibility or deeply held convictions. I enjoy romance routes where these different sides of a character are revealed little by little, so I think I'm less interested in a character's archetype and more in whether they continue to surprise me and reveal new layers of themselves.

I like tsunderes and kuuderes, i love it when MCs make them blush. Also i like characters who are unapologetically in love with the main character and shows it.

I've always had a soft spot for characters who are hated by others, even the devs themselves. I love those that are all alone in the world, even more so when even their own mother/father/guardian never loved them.

I think I like 2D man in general now that I think about it xD but I tend to like more the effeminate LIs, the yandere type, the ones that are funny and silly and are never taken seriously (I forgot that I like this archetype so much, then I played Code: Realize and Impey stole my heart) and the strange mysterious ones, more if they seem detached from their surroundings.
