Do you guys keep notes on your thoughts after playing otome games?

No. If i really love game im not forget anything even in couple years. If not interesting i will forget.
Honestly I have this same mindset haha, but there are times where I do forget tiny details so when I replay a game I have that tiny feeling as if I was playing the game for the first time.

i usually livepost my thoughts on a private twitter account while playing games lol… the problem is that since it's twitter, it's kinda annoying trying to find those posts again later 😭 using a journal or a blog would probably make it way easier to revisit my thoughts afterward haha

I keep one, big text file with basic information and a short review of games I've played. I also add entries for games I've dropped or bounced off of in addition to ones I've finished, since I'll sometimes see something that looks good, check the list, and realized I already played it two years ago but it was pretty average so I forgot.

I do but I can't find them easily. I've seen people making media logs lately, and I think I should try that as well.

This thread is honestly making me want to try to do this. (´。• ᵕ •。)
I feel so sad now that I've never done this for my games in the past, especially with some of my favorites.

It seems like it could be so fun and sweet to reread my thoughts finishing a route and getting to express my feelings at that exact moment.
Even the thought of replaying games at different states or moods in my life seems like a cute way to journal something I enjoyed (or dreaded) playing. (´꒳`)♡

It definitely seems like a way to stay organized on which games and routes I've played than relying on my memory, haha. (ง ื▿ ื)ว

I share my thoughts as I play the game—it's like a text-based version of a game review.

No, but maybe I should do that to improve my writings in general. But, its hard to keep habits, and my mind always blank when I try to write what I think of the game that I played.

I like to write down my impressions after finishing each route in a game. There are both happy and painful feelings in those memories. I often post screenshots of my favorite lines on Instagram and write little notes about the interesting things or the impressions I had from each game (◍•ᴗ•◍)

In the past, I used to just play games without thinking much about it. Because I didn't keep any records, my memories faded as time went by.

Since then, I have been briefly recording the stories and my reviews of the characters I completed. Even if I don't write it down in detail and just keep it brief, it helps me remember.

yes i do!! it's fun and also a good way to rmbr the feelings and thoughts you've had abt a route and LI after some time has passed—that's why i try to do it as much as possible, especially with routes i like!

When I play games, I usually don't record my thoughts and feelings. I just enjoy the joy of playing games at that time. Usually, this is recorded in my mind for a period of time. If it takes a long time, I may forget the plot after a few years. I will experience it again. I like the feeling!

I love writing my thoughts while playing or after. This help me to remember plot of the games after months because i easily forget everything. My notes are full of spoilers, or i can say it is like thoughts and plot summaries.

At first I didn't write anything down, but after playing more games I started forgetting a lot of things. So then I started writing reviews, jotting down my feelings and thoughts at the time. Now when I read my reviews from years ago, it feels like traveling through time. It's also interesting to see how my opinions have changed over time.

I recently try to write my thoughts on notion or koilog, but in the end I'm actually more comfortable livepost on my priv twitter or on discord with my friends just to try to get them to play the games too

I don't really keep notes. Instead, I usually screenshot scenes or lines that stand out to me and send them to my friend. We share the same hobby, so we do this all the time, and it honestly helps me remember my thoughts better than writing them down.

Never do that since if it's really a good story it's not easy to forget, and actually it's even better that after some time the story is vague in memory and it's fun to play it again (especially given that there are less impressive stories recently than a few years). If it's not so good or just so so, it's better to finish it faster and start a new one.
