Dark Mode or Light Mode user?

I use dark moe for mostly everything except for some websites where light mode is better suited to the format. The white light in light mode is too blinding for me

I'm used to using light mode because it makes the text appear clearer. Dark mode tends to make me feel like the focus shifts away from the displayed text, so I'm not very comfortable with it and have continued using light mode.

I really don't get how people can use light mode without their eyes hurting. Maybe I spent too much time looking at screens lol.

Dark mode forever and ever. Light hurts my eyes and put some strain on them. It's interesting to see the opinions of the ones who like light mode though. I'm envious sometimes cause there are themes in light mode that look so pretty on mobile or on desktop but alas my eyes is not built for it lol

When I was younger, I was a Light Mode user. But as I got older, I gradually switched to Dark Mode.

It reflects my darkened soul now.

Also, it's just much easier on my eyes.

I usually use dark mode because most sites default is dark mode. I'm too lazy to change it unless the mode hurts my eyes.

I'm mostly a light mode user, I have astigmatism so the text in dark mode gets too blurry for me and ends up making my head hurt. I occasionally use dark mode when I'm in bed and the lights are off tho!

im always using dark mode, light mode is ofc way too much for my eyes and just irritates me in general. before i used the "automatic" but now my phone and main devices are always on dark mode

Definitely dark mode.. my eyes hurt from light mode and since I have a pretty sharp eyesight I could survive even if my phone is at its lowest brightness. Otherwise it wouldnt be comfortable for my eyes and it would hurt a lot.

I think I prefer dark mode. My eyes get tired pretty easily. It's also easier on the eyes when I'm looking at my screen in a dark room.

I use the auto-switch feature between light and dark mode for day and night on my phone. Sadly, my PC doesn't have that feature, so I just use dark mode all the time on it.
