The first couple pages was just getting down the basics till i felt i could do decently and then moving on to actual ideas~ Google... well some are just direct copies from google with little flaws here and there xD

Not think... its hard to clear the mind >.< I always have some thought going around...

I find myself quite envious that you can have such an accumulation of ideas and doodles before proceeding with the final stages of a drawing.

I just tackle the main drawing without using much guides or early stages of sketching. When it comes time to presenting, I have very little means in displaying how I came about to drawing the final piece... mostly words.

Clearing the mind. That blank state in which no sound is heard and no presence is felt. It is difficult to do.

Whenever I shower, I block everything out and just think about something. It's like my personal study.

Envious? o.o Well its mostly because this is my first time trying to create an anime style composition... and i didnt really feel like just handing in a simple sketch xD I tried drawing and found that despite being able to copy anime like drawings i was quite horrible at actually drawing them without having some example~ then i needed to know how shiina actually looked so i just found some official art and drew the main features a couple times to see how she was different from the others~ A character is quite hard to just visualize and draw from my mind (unlike the chopsticks in the previous competition which didnt have anything to show for what i did while thinking cuz i just draw and erased on the same page) unless i actually studied it careful before~ So now ill probably be able to draw shiina without all the pages of practice until the memory of her details fade :3 Your way seems to work fine for you though xD

Yeah... i try to do that before sleeping not that i know how xD

Lol i dont recall working that hard to plan things either actually Not for school anyway xD This was just for fun mostly~ Took tons of time though lol~ I seem to work harder if its for someone else~ As for my own stuff... not quite~

I don't plan or work hard too much... most if not some things come naturally to me. That makes life boring.
