Question can't open threads

hello,
i'm not very active here but i check for some games from time to time.
today though i cant open any threads in the Otome Games, Artbooks & CDs section. i don't know if this means i did something and was blocked from that area or if there is an issue with the site? i didn't get any emails and all my alerts here are gone

I think many people have this problem right now. Just need wait more days . And better don't spam a lot in spam section. Maybe we should be more active but not spam.

along with this same problem , i sometimes need to use vpn to open the site itself and i don't know if anyone noticed but i've seen a post where an uploader contributed and shared a game yet when i returned few days seen it gone ? is the problem from my device or from the site itself ?

Every day, scrapers invade our site, copy our resources, re-uploading them elsewhere, and charging membership fees for access. Our Uploaders and Contributors have long expressed concerns that we are too lenient in our approach. I find it amusing when someone, not directly involved as an Uploader, claims, "nobody will upload here anymore". No matter what, the core principles of Anime-Sharing community will not change: a free library of resources for everyone.

It's important to remember that we never compel anyone to join us. Everyone is free to leave if they believe we are too strict. Not having access to a particular section today doesn't mean you can't work towards gaining that access in the future. (Though, not by counting to one million for certain )

As a community built on the foundation of sharing, we do not charge for access to exclusive resources, and many requests also get fulfilled at no cost to you.

Is it unreasonable to ask that you contribute your knowledge back to the community? Your time is valuable, I understand that, but can't you find the capacity to share your insights just once every few weeks? Helping out fellow community member? Do you see us as a community, or are we just your free library that you can plunder to scam people?

i understand what you are saying but take me for example , if i got inactive for a year would i not be able to use the site once i'm able to return ? i was genuinely not able to access the internet for a year now , believe it or not xd.

That's normal, people got busy with life all the time. That's genuine behaviour, totally not a bot. You have nothing to worry about.

The admin does not ask members to write something stupid for 200 times in one day. It's more important that you do it genuinely, one or two post a week is fine. Share your knowledge, help the community, you will gain the Trusted Member / Elite Member in no time. Doesn't need to count to 1M.

The rank maker always look at your ratio. If you just come here to download and leave, it will most likely revoke your access in the future as you are classified as "scrape bot"

I have a question. Once you reached Active Member / Trusted Member etc can you lose the badge too if you for example have to stop using the site for a while? Or are they are a once achievement kind of thing?

You're in the group we call it Zero (0) Group, meaning you didn't interact, didn't post anything. You're exactly at 0.

The simplest way to get started is to go to Otome Section, you can use translation software to start with few simple thread:

Just write what you think, and do not use AI to write it for you. Translation is fine as well. Rank Maker check for AI Writings, you don't want to be classified as "AI Spammer", that's a hole you won't get out.

You can also help other members in the Requests section for simple task like Reupload (if you have them). if you are from China, probably you can just store files on baidu. Providing mirrors url for files is also acceptable. There's a lot of Chinese on this board, you're free to just post in Chinese.

Also finish setting up your profile, in Chinese if that's what you want - upload avatar, list favorite games, and such.

As long as you're a genuine member, not a scraping bot, you will get it.

Is this a general complaint, or one aimed specifically at myself? I think that's a very silly claim for someone to make, personally, given how long this community has been active. I don't think it's unreasonable to have concerns about scraping and reuploading, but again, none of what you've said in response to me really addresses the fact that the FAQ you posted earlier in this thread has pretty unclear wording, which is what I was asking for clarification on. In later replies, you've clarified that it's scraping bots you're concerned about, and posts from users help you figure out which accounts are genuine, which makes total sense; what I'm trying to express to you is that for lurking accounts who don't have much to say, the earlier posts on this thread and FAQ give off the impression that quieter users are going to be counted the exact same way as the scraping bots you're concerned about. If accounts like mine (i.e. 10+ years of lurking) can be verified as legitimate and regain access to our previous community, I think it's better to explain that for longtime users.

Alright let me put it this way. I would want to make it as crystal clear as possible before we move on to wave 2.

Scrape bot: we want to get rid of them. Including hundreds of their clones army.

Lurker user who download a lot but did not interact: also similar to scrape bot. Will be classified as such.

Lurker who occasionally help out: Good, we want to encourage and reward those who pitch in their knowledge as well.

Regular user who rarely visit, doesn't interact much: Also OK. Everyone start somewhere.

Contributor, Uploader, Trusted and Elite member are the backbone of the community.

Clone account trying to be regular user: They will also get the shaft. Sometimes they managed to earn the Trusted and Elite member too, but we will take action as soon as they cause trouble.

New user: This group will be a bit more tricky. We want to make it as easy as possible for new user to join, while preventing abuses. We have a pretty good idea what to do about that and this group will be sorted in the next upgrade.

International user who are not fluent in English: we also does not want to target this group.

There's many members expressing concern they made a mistake participating at the Spam and Forum Games.

There's no need to worry too much about it. The penalty will eventually diminish over time. For starter, the penalty will only be applied if your ratio is dispropotional like a bot seeking to gain rank: posting 50-100 posts in a short interval whereas you only have 10 real posts. But even so, after you had stopped, this penalty will eventually go away.

While these penalties might be minor at first, they can accumulate significantly if one continues to engage in this behavior like a bot without doing anything else.

We do not need you to come here everyday. Participate with us at whatever level you're comfortable with. even once a week or once a month, may be every bluemoon is perfectly acceptable.

Sharing your thoughts, giving a short review of what you download occasionally or answering member's questions will have a far more positive impact on your profile.

Counting to one million would somehow elevate one's rank is absurd. You don't have to go out of your zone doing 10 posts a day. We appreciate it, but if that makes you uncomfortable, we don't want it either.

Be a member. Do what you love.

What they meant by contributions is by interacting with otome corner or answering questions if you know the answer, and provide reuploads if you have the files. You should definitely start interacting with otome corner tho so you can regain access eventually.

No, as long as you're somewhat active. However you are unqualified for access right now.

That's a different condition. If you do not want to interact at Otome Games, but still have access to Otome Game, it's possible. The first hurdle would be one internal condition before you can even get Trusted Member, it's to filter out bots trying to game the system.

But it's not that hard, it's alot easier than counting 100 times in forum games counting to one million.

I still cannot wrap my head around counting 100 times somehow will help you ranking up.
