* Based on manga series BRAVE10 by Shimotsuki Kairi, serialised in Comic Flapper later in Comic Gene (both by Media Factory).

The story takes place during the Warring States period, approximately a year before the Battle of Sekigahara.

Kirigakure Saizou, a Iga Ninja in search of his life's path, comes across Isanami, an Izumo shrine maiden, being attacked by assassins. Isanami, who survived the burning of Izumo Temple by Tokugawa Ieyasu's forces, is traveling to Shinshuu to seek sanctuary with Sanada Yukimura.

At the same time, Sanada Yukimura is in the midst of gathering 10 men of extraordinary valor, the Sanada Ten Braves, whose strengths are able to alter the course of history. In the course of their continuous battles, the mysterious power hidden within Isanami will awaken...

well , just ordinary anime about ninja and samurai, same plot "there's a mysterious power" well thats the basic story, but its still nice :)

but i love strong main character , since its hard to find any strong character from first episode and brave not cowardly , kinda hope Regios will have 2nd season

wooh thats some gap you get there, Kenshin is totally out of this anime reach , well if you compare it like previous season anime with the same theme : Hyakka Ryouran , its still on par on character, and story (since they have some mysterious power on its plot)

well its a bit different , Meiji era is after Feudal era where Meiji era is a bit behind on World War 1 , Feudal era is when there's still houses of shogun, and daimyo (since in this anime they have Yukimura Sanada) hope i'm not wrong at this one, for more story about Japan era check http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Japan

First episode was ok. Somewhat reminded me of 13 Assassins in a less complicated and more cliched way.
Action scenes are nice, if they can keep up this quality I'll probably keep watching it as eye candy but right now I don't expect much in terms of plot (was the case with Fairy Tail when it just started airing).

just when i think what relation Ana and Saizou have, its childhood friend and close relation!? a bit unexpected.... so far its nice action nice bunshin not kawarimi from Saizou well thats the remarkable on this episode
