is it just me or everyone else also have it? :(

nooo not me~ If you select "remember me" It'll make it where you don't have to log in.
If you have your browser set to not accept history, that would keep you from staying logged in.
things like cookies or clearing history when you close will do that too~

I automatically logged out when I edited my profile
so I had to start over from beginning

There's a 15 minutes time out unless you set Remember Me

Remember Me will remember your current PC and browsers for a year or until you logout.
