Are there any routes that made you cry while playing?

I get a bit too emotional when I play games; sad stories make me want to cry, and happy endings make me cry too. The most recent time was probably when I played *The Evening Bell of the Devoted Flower* and got to the part where Lily and Nikolai got married.
 
The closest I've gotten to crying was when playing club suicide, I think? I'm trying to remember, but I don't think it did actually make me cry, but I don't recall any other otome doing so either. Maybe a tight feeling in my chest sadness but not crying.
 
Depends on the LI, I suppose. But some games, like Virche and Nightshade, I cry through every route XD
 
I didnt play that many games that got me to cry (yet hehe), but I really cried a lot during all routes of Even If Tempest. And well for BL I think I only cried while playing Clear's route in DMMD, and maybe Ren.
 
I rarely cry at otome games but I remember really crying not sobbing at 18+ Jooubachi no oubou kaguya-hen at Rin's happy ending, it was so bitter-sweet 80% bitter than sweet but that's Jooubachi no oubou for you
 
i rarely cry when im playing something but yves route in virche evermore especially his despair ending completely broke me
 
I almost never cry, but one scene in Ephemeral made me tear up a bit T-T
 
For me, I've only felt tears at basically every route, especially Nijou's, in Re;quartz Reido, every ending is bittersweet but so fulfilling.
 
the entirety of virche LOL i felt actual physical pain while sobbing during the end of le salut though haha,,, i love the game!
 
Noa's route in Blackish House sideZ!! The overall story and the way everything was directed was just so emotional and made me cry
 
I cried too when I played the Noah route in *Black Kishi House*. And in Jong-won's Bürsch, I cried because of the heroine, Ceres. Both of them are such pitiable characters,
 
Jack Jeanne always makes me emotional -- there's this melancholy undertone to the entire game about leaving childhood and nostalgia. It isn't dark or tragic but it makes you slowly fall in love with it and Kai's endings make me cry o(╥﹏╥)o
 
Hmm... when I play visual novels, I usually just go for the happy ending… and fortunately I often pick the right choices XDD.
So, at this moment there hasn't really been any route that made me cry. However, there is a game with a very sorrowful story called Kintouka (a BL game).
The main route kind of made me feel sad, but I didn't cry lol (even though I cry a lot when watching anime LOL. I cried watching Attack on Titan, Banana Fish).
 
Why didn't I see this post before? I literally just finished Noa's route in Blackish House Side Z and I literally cried buckets. Not only was I already emotionally charged because I've been playing Blackish House nonstop with Akune's and Nayuta's routes, but Noa's route just broke me because they force you to do the bad endings. I don't usually do them, and I thought, "Okay, I've cried enough already," but bad ending 5 definitely hit me hard. I've never cried so much with an otome game. Damn you, Sakino!

Mozu's and Helvetica's routes in Bustafellows 2 also made me cry, but just a few tears, and Mozu's were mostly tears of anger.
 
I have never cried while playing a game.
Of course, there were definitely sad stories, but it was just to the extent of feeling sad, and I didn't shed any tears.
In fact, I don't really cry much in my daily life either.
 
Noa's route in Blackish House sideZ made me tear up so much. The second playthrough was even more emotional than the first one.. I highly recommend playing Noa's route twice!
 
alices route in taisho x alice. all of the reveals and how it connected back to the other games made me think about it in a different perspective and had me crying buckets. for a game with a very funny translation that made me laugh so much it really had a tearful ending that surprised me. guess all the laughs were there to prepare u for heartbreak TvT
 
There is currently no game that can make me cry until now, but a long time ago when I was playing Hakuoki, I cried a lot.
Now thinking about the endings of the characters inside, I still feel very sad. If I were to play this game again now, I would definitely cry, which is why I haven't played Hakuoki for so many years.
