I have been trying to get my hands on applocale to run a few games, but of course, micro$oft, in their dubious wisdom, appear to have taken it off of their website. Does anyone know of a safe place to download it or would be willing to post it for me? Thank you!

Applocate is not popular anymore.You can use control panel change language non unicode to japanese and restart.It work pretty well on Windows 7 and 8.1.

I know the problem is solved, but for anyone who is looking for an alternative to Applocale, try Locale Emulator. Works with Windows 10 as well. The only thing I've found, at the moment, that it doesn't work on is Starry Sky ~After Spring~.
