Looks like a very very thin season with some of the best studios going off on strange tangents. including A-1, KyoAni, and some others. sigh.

Asterisk is a nice return. but so many are very juvenile...or just plain shallow. Maybe there will be some happy surprises but i am pretty sad about it at the moment.

Joker Game is an interesting idea...Kuromukuro offers some hope...Flying With and Hai-Furi also will be good i suspect...the Kanjo Neko kitty story is very sweet....

Hundred..may rise up over its typical genre packaging...lets hope.

but the giant girl battling one, and others are just silly. a strange time in Anime Land...not sure what is up, some of the long long presences..like Gundam still haunt us, and the Macross homage to idols is still with us as well... but when the best studios get hijacked by bizarre stuff...it like of takes the wind out of our sails and leaves us to hunt and peck...Winter was that way too...here's hoping for a wonderful summer .. but there are enough of each fav genre to keep us going i think.

Seisen Cerberus may offer some interest too. there is a chance that the art, animation or design style of any of the new ones will raise them up some you can't tell until we can see how the staffs were made up and directed.

and there are some nice movies and OVA to look forward to.
