主人公、岸山仁は中堅OA機器会社で働く平凡なサラリーマン。
営業職でありながら、人とのコミュニケーションが下手で、営業成績は好ましくない。
今日も今月の営業成績が悪いことを理由に上司に怒られていた。

そんなある日、仁はいつもどおり仕事を終え、帰宅しようと駅に向かっている途中
ある雑居ビルのプレートが目に入った。
そこには大人の幼稚園めだか倶楽部と書かれていた。
こんなところに幼稚園が？それに大人の幼稚園っていったい……

不思議に思いながら仁がプレートを眺めていると、突然背後から女性に声を掛けられた。
どうやら女性はその幼稚園で働いている先生で、仁のことを”今日から来た生徒”と勘違いしたようだ。
半ば強引にエレベーターに乗せられ、めだか倶楽部のある階まで連れて行かれたのだった。

そして室内に入ると数人の男性が、驚くことに園児服姿で女性に甘えていたのだった。

めだか倶楽部とは大人の為の幼稚園で、仕事に疲れたサラリーマンの為の幼稚園だったのだ。
