That patch is for the download edition,
CORRECTION -- the binary (.exe file) is the same --

I got it running with the micocon download, nope I don't get the patch to run with the girlcelly download.
Tried:
1) Install with original setup .exe
2 DRM window appears if you start
3) Overwrite installed .exe with cracked
4) DRM window if start
5) Uninstall
6) Overwrite setup .exe with cracked
7) Install
8) DRM window if start
9) Overwrite installed .exe with cracked
10) DRM window if start

It's probably another file that the crack uses. For example cs2.exe is different size in the micocon download.

1) Extract the folder to the location of your choice
2) I don't know if it is important, but I copied the crack (ニュートンと林檎の樹.exe) in the folder of 1) and installed the game with the cracked .exe file.
3) Copy the crack in the folder of the installed game and run it with cs2.exe.

At least, it worked for me that way.

I can confirm the 2DJ crack works
DO NOT RUN THE GAME AFTER INSTALL though
get the crack from that thread then extract the zip and install the game
after install close the autorun exe and paste the CS2 crack
run the game
as both torrents seem to belong to the same origin so... yeah
