Description
Kotarou is now living at his aunt's house because his parents have gone abroad on business. He just lives a peaceful life with his old friends and classmates. But one day, he is attacked by a group of two girls on his way to school. He is saved by a girl called Yuno. According to her, she is an android his grandfather invented. Kotarou is surprised to hear that and runs away from her. He tries to forget it, but Yuno transfers to his class on the next day. "I'll work for Kotarou. I'll watch him anytime, anywhere. I swear I'll be his sword and shield...." Like this, his life changes completely.... But he might have been wanting it..., this sort of adventure life....

Hmm, weird. It installed, and it runs, but it runs incredibly slowly. Seriously, it takes nearly a minute to select a choice from the title menu. Do I need to run it in compatibility mode or something? (I use Win 7)

You should try running it in Window XP SP 3 with Administrator Privileges to see if it makes a difference. If you haven't already set your 'Regional and Language Settings' to Japanese, please do so. Also changing the fonts of the visual novel in-game from the menu, if they have that option, may help with the in-game text readability if you're using a hook based program. Finally installing the Direct X that comes with the game may help relieve that issue but I doubt it.

Also isolating the problem by running that game alone might help you find what my be causing the so called lag, but I doubt it due to the game size structure. I'll do a quick run through the game in 3 days to see if I can replicate the problem.
