Summary
Muv-Luv Alternative takes place after the events of the original Muv-Luv. Alternative focuses on the life of Shirogane Takeru three years after Muv-Luv; Takeru wakes up believing that everything that had happened was just a dream. However, he notices something wrong: he has been sent back in time to the beginning of the events in Muv-Luv: Unlimited. But instead of letting a disaster strike again, he decides to help stop it before it even begins. The solution: helping to complete Alternative IV.

It's full. It was unofficially leaked by an ex-member of the group, so of course you won't see updated information on VNDB. There are some untranslated images and unedited lines, but they shouldn't be a major bother.

Im testing it right now and EVERYTHING after the coup detat is in japanese.

I made a fresh install and tested it again. This is the partial patch that only reaches up to end of the coup detat arc. this is NOT the full patch.

Nope, yours is also the partial patch that reaches only up to the coup detat ending.

Are you using the DVD version of the game (2006/02/24 release)?

Have you copied data.ami included in the patch into your installation folder and replace the original? mla-r1.exe is nothing but the Coup d'état arc, so if you see Japanese after it then it's most likely because you haven't copied the data.ami.

Yes I do and yes I have done that. It wouldnt make sense that it only patches up to a certain point anyways. If I were doing it wrong nothing would get patched u.u

Edit: for some god forsaken reason...after I uninstalled and installed the game 4 times and redid the whole patch then copy+overwrite...everything is in english now...except for the intro stuff

so damn weird xD

Would be weird if it didn't work, cause I've only seen very few people complaining across the internet and most of them forgot to copy the data.ami.

For unknown reason i keep got blue screen whenever i reach curtain scene in the game... is it because the game or my computer? now even if i dont play the game i keep got blue screen...
