Unfortunately still needs a hook code, H codes from previous guilty games don't work with this one and normal threads don't get all characters that appear in a line.

Is there a way to reopen the initial configuration menu after installation that lets you decide the screen resolution and other things like sound output? I've tried reinstalling multiple times, but it skips the menu even after a reinstallation.

Are you running the game under Japanese locale settings ? Because something like that might be the indication of it.

Otherwise, you have to probably edit the registry ... and check this key to reset the settings you might have done: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\WillPlus\Guilty\俺の上であがく六人の伽女

Don't know which subkey is responsible for the settings window display, because I never needed to mess with something like that.

Of course, this is from the Windows 8.1 system, if you have a different system, the location of the key might be different.

Recently willplus studio has made mandatory that XAudio2.7 should be installed in order to get the sound output.Just update your windows and you must be able to get the sound output

I guess I'm not the only one having sound issues. I've updated Windows 10 to the latest release, and reinstalled this multiple times. The only other thing I can think of besides the crack is that I fucked up in the initial settings window that launched at the first time and didn't set the sound output correctly and than clicked the box saying not to show this window again upon startup. Any help fixing this would be appreciated.

Gotta say, this is the weakest Guilty game I've ever played. Probably because it can't decide what it want to be and the nonsensical development of its characters. The BGMs are an overkill; they're all tense songs.

That didn't work, but it did lead me to the solution. I had to change the regkey mentioned earlier in this thread (Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\WillPlus\Guilty\俺の上であがく六人の伽女) for the Audio Device to my sound device which for me was "Speakers (Logitech G430 Gaming Headset)" instead of what it was. It got it to work, so thanks for all the help. Still frustrating that it was so fucked up for so long.
