I never self-insert, so I love MC with strong personality. My favorite MCs are Kisa (Jack Jeanne), Yuhiru (Over RequiemZ) and Shindo Ringo (Club suicide). To me, it's easier to immerse in story when MC have strong ideals/beliefs/goals of her own.

I noticed that i often return to completed otome and BL games to replay some routes of my favorite characters, at least once in year or two. What about you?

Re: Alistair. I just scrolled site with unofficial translation vns and it was among many others i tried.

I rotate between several, but try to focus at one for week or month at least.

I avoid them. I don't like when parts of the story are locked behind the multiple paywalls, especially when there's no clear game ending.
