So the funny thing is that my first otome game was actually Mystic Messenger. Before that I had only seen some anime adaptations of otome games, such as Amnesia.
The second one was probably either Ikemen sengoku or Samurai love ballad party.
"Kid-like" characters are not really my type (like Honey from Ouran High School Host Club). If he looks and/or acts like a kid I'm not into that. Actual kids are also no-no.
A younger guy is fine in a game but too large age gaps do ick me a little bit.
As a plus sized girlie the lines about the listener's small body or small hands kinda... take me out a bit. I mostly try to ignore them.
Sometimes drama cds have a line about the listener getting princess carried by him and it just always makes me laugh a bit cause there's a zero chance this...
Single. I'm not super interested in dating. It also seems kinda pain in the ass to date as a childfree (and fat) woman. But if the right person comes along, maybe?
The problem is that it's not super satisfying to read a story that doesn't really choose a love interest? I think most adaptations end up being like that?
I recommend Princess Tutu. It's an older anime but I liked it a lot.
Also Kuragehime (Princess Jellyfish). I love that it has a girl squad of kinda socially awkward nerds.
