I mostly use Textractor and Luna translations! I tried learning Japanese on my own so I could play games without translation tools, but it wasn't easy at all. Huge respect to everyone who managed to master Japanese through self-study. I'm really impressed!
I first discovered otome games in middle school when I played Love Revo =)
After that, I completely fell in love with otome games and started looking for more to play! Otome games have become such an important part of my life — I honestly can't imagine my life without them now 💖
Most of my favorite characters are in 2D, and I’m still not really used to 3D yet, so I think I prefer 2D games =) Maybe I just got too attached to 2D art over the years 🤣
Cupid Parasite is seriously so fun, right! I haven’t actually fully completed that many games, but it’s one of the few I’ve 100% cleared because I enjoyed it so much. I haven’t played the fandisc yet though—have you tried it?😚
It seems like Amnesia: Memories is a game people love enough to replay multiple times! I’ve never actually fully completed it myself, but now I feel like I should finally try to finish all the routes this time =)
I’ve heard of MysMe too, but I’ve never played it before—your story really got me...
I totally get what you mean 😭 There are so many titles I wish I could experience for the first time again, too. But I love that you kept notes about them—that’s such a nice way to revisit those feelings, even if it’s not quite the same.
I’ve played all of the Tokimeki series except the first one, and I never get tired of them no matter how many times I replay!
I haven’t tried Bad Apple Wars or Period Cube yet, but they look really fun!!! I definitely need to check them out 😊
Oh!!! I've played Love Revo twice too =)
Once on PC and once on Nintendo DS, so I've played it twice!
I think Love Revo is a game that's still fun even when you replay it!
Hi everyone =)
I've mostly been commenting until now, but this is my first time making a post! Please understand if my English sounds a bit awkward since it's not my first language=)
Are there any otome games you've replayed?
For me, I've replayed Yoshiwara Higanbana and Chou no Doku (now that...
Nice to meet you!
Since English isn't my first language, I usually rely on a translator when I write posts too!
I'm not really a fan of sad endings, so I tend to stick to happy ones.
But in "Virche Evermore", you kind of have to go through the bad endings first before you can reach the happy...
I usually enjoy mini-games as long as they're not too difficult! But in Hana Awase, the mini-games were pretty hard, which made progressing through the story a bit frustrating 😭 Aside from that game, though, I really love mini-games overall!
I usually just go with whichever character catches my eye first.
I know there's a recommended order, but I enjoy discovering things in my own way—it feels more fun and personal.
And honestly, I kind of want to try playing my favorite character as soon as possible haha.
I’ve been kinda curious about R18 otome too, mostly because I’m really into pretty art styles, so I ended up trying a few lol.
The first one I ever played was Under the Moon!
