The most I do is scribble down short notes, either on paper or on a note-taking app.

There's already so many good suggestions being made here, but if we can only choose one feature, I'd definitely vote on the ability to skip, either to unread text or to the next choice. I think this is essential when replaying routes with multiple endings.
Does mobile app count? I haven't seen anyone mention this game, but my first otome game was Midnight Cinderella by CYBIRD. I love Louis so much! 😭

Oh dear, I know exactly what you mean! Especially if the character's story is very well written. When I find a guy like that in a game, sometimes that makes me lose interest in the others and I'll just straight up ditch 'em.

It depends on the genre of the story, but generally I try my best to get a good/happy ending. I prefer to see everyone being happy rather than sad. I'm a sucker for happy endings. :happytears:
