Lately, I've been buying mostly digital versions.
It's easy to manage because I can play without inserting a game card, and I don't need any storage space.
I love it!
It's a bit of a shame that in some games, the characters take on human form toward the end of the story or in fan discs. I wish they'd stay cute little animals forever.
I've been playing otome games for about 10 years now.
Although I can't concentrate as well as I used to, and my playtime has decreased, I plan to keep playing for a long time to come.
I like stories that have a true route because I enjoy the excitement of working my way toward it.
However, I do think there's some inequality among the characters. That's because the character I end up liking the most is often not the main hero.
I don't like playing games on a PC for long periods of time, so I play otome games on the Switch.
I think the reason otome games are often released on the Switch is that many people who buy Japanese otome games don't own a PC.
It's fun how the characters' personalities and storylines are completely different depending on who you play as.
Norn9 was fun, too!
It looks like Handsome Laundering has two protagonists as well, so I plan to give it a try once I finish the game I'm playing right now.
I hope we see more otome...
