Kinda surprising that not a lot of people mention Jack Jeanne. It was one of the otome games that has a bit of unique style that is absolutely gorgeous and painting like art. So yeah, Jack Jeane is my first, my second will be Ayakashi Romance then Mistonia's Hope.

I started when I was 13 -15 lol... Man, those shall we date games that were connected to facebook sure is nostalgic. Then I got into some dating sims like pacthesis on deviant art, those are so fun!

There are some games where I am bothered by it but most of the time, I do play for the story and plot so choices are not much of an issue for me, they usually only have three anyway.

I would highly suggest Cinderella phenomenon if you're into fairytale-esque genre, Hakuoki if you're into historical fantasy, Busta fellows if you're into modern settings and if you're into a theater genre it would be Jack Jeanne.

3D's are fine but most otome that uses 3D are hit or miss while 2D are always really good.

I adore mini games on Otomes! like a nice way to break the monotony of simply reading, and a great way to immerse players in a way. I especially love the rhythm games on Jack Jeanne
