  1. What's your favourite Nitro+CHiRAL visual novel?

For me, it's DRAMAtical Murder. First of all, visually it's more vibrant and not as gloomy as other visual novels. Second, Towa is simply the best protagonist! Playing as him is a real pleasure. As for the plot, DRAMAtical Murder might have less philosophy, extraordinary depth, or hidden...
  2. What's a red flag you can forgive in a fictional character but would never tolerate in real life?

In otome, I'm more or less okay with LI keeping the MC in a certain place—for example, to protect her (like in or . But in real life, that's a huge red flag that you should avoid!
  3. Do you like otome routes that end with the MC and LI having children?

I've never played an otome where the MC and LI had a child at the end, but I think a scene or story arc like that could show the characters in a positive light and add depth to their relationship. So I'm not opposed to it.
  4. Which otome left a lasting impression on you?

Which otome do you remember forever and which left a lasting impression on you? And what exactly about the otome impressed you?
  5. Can the number of LI affect the quality of otome?

Usually in otome there are consistently 4–5 LI, plus there might be a secret character. But there are otome like Hakuouki and Kamigami no Asobi that feature 7 or more LI. In Kamigami no Asobi, in my opinion, a large number of LI doesn't make otome better—quite the opposite, in fact. The LI...
  6. What do you value more in otome: the plot or the romance?

There are otome where the plot matters more than the relationships between the main characters. And there are cases where the plot isn't very interesting, but the chemistry between the characters is so strong that the plot doesn't seem to matter as much. So, which of these do you value more in...
  7. What's your understanding of a strong female lead in otome games?

I haven't seen many examples like this, but I really wish the MC in otome could stand up to really pushy guys and even be a bit of a badass with a strong personality—but the kind of badass you'd root for until the very end and still feel for.
  8. What cliche from an otome game would you remove?

I can't stand it when the MC turns out to be "the chosen one," immediately possesses some kind of special ability, and everything comes easily to her just because she's "the chosen one"—and the guys fall in love with her because she's "THE CHOSEN ONE"! This cliche needs to be done away with once...
  9. Do you like the slice-of-life otome genre?

I get enough of ordinary life in my own life, so I choose otome with fantasy plots and characters.
  10. Do game spoilers (plot, CG, etc.) bother you? Or do you prefer seeing them?

For me, spoilers are the worst thing I can come across when I'm playing otome, especially if it`s CG`s. I love the element of surprise and interesting plot twists, so I steer clear of spoilers.
  11. ✨Which potion would you choose?✨

I'm definitely going to choose yellow, because there are so many great otome that, unfortunately, haven't been localized yet. That really upsets me(
  12. Which indie otome pleasantly surprised you?

Which indie otome did you have no expectations for, but it pleasantly surprised you—and what exactly impressed you about it (graphics, story, characters)? I'd like to find some interesting recommendations. For me, it's Don't eat the cashier! The visuals and characters are soooo good!
  13. How do you feel about voice actor changes?

I always have a hard time accepting changes in voice actors, especially when the voice of a favorite character has changed. Sometimes the new voice sounds very similar to the original, and then it's a little easier to deal with, but when the voice changes drastically, that's a problem for me.
  14. Do you 100% complete your otome/bl VNs?

I don't think I've ever completed a single otome/BL 100%. Let me explain: I play through absolutely every route, but I hate bad endings so much that I simply don't play through them—I only play until I get a good ending.
  15. Do you prefer younger Lls, older LIs, or characters around the MC's age?

A lot depends not so much on the characters' ages as on their personalities. I usually prefer LI`s who are older than the MC, but there are also LI`s who are younger than MC but have more interesting personalities or are more charismatic than others. So it varies depending on the situation.
  16. Are you the type to play multiple otome game or focus on only one

I usually focus on one otome, but if it doesn't really interest me, I might switch to another one.
  17. Which one do you prefer? Only playing bl games or only playing otome games for the rest of your life?

I'll definitely go for otome. I love this genre, and it speaks to me more than BL, although there are some great examples of those, too.
  18. How important is the visual style of otome to you?

I don't have much experience with otome, but I can say that most of them have a very appealing visual style. And there are some otome I wouldn't mind playing, but because of the visual style, which I don't really like, I can't bring myself to do it.
  19. What do you think about faceless MC ?

The first time I saw a faceless MC was in Mystic Messenger. At the time, I was upset that the MC looked that way. And I'm still against MCs looking like that. I understand that it makes easier for people to relate to her, but I don't like it.
  20. What do you think about gacha and microtransactions in smartphone otome games?

Gacha in otome can be not that annoying if the developers approach it sensibly, and you won't have to spend all your money just to get that one character. Personally, I have nothing against gacha. I rarely spend money on it and try to get my favorite character through my own efforts (though I...
