i definitely prefer a set personality mc it makes the story and interactions way more engaging and memorable plus i feel more connected to the character when they actually have their own thoughts and traits

honestly i really dont like faceless mcs i much prefer when the protagonist actually has a visible sprite on screen it makes the interactions feel more natural and immersive for me
