Who is your exception otome LI

We all have certain personality types that we don't like in LIs but sometimes we see one who has that personality type but we still love them.
The type I usually don't like are flirts. The only exception to this is Nazir from Royal alchemist. Surprisingly, both him and his route ended up being my favorite of all the three LIs. (I loved the others too)

A trope i really don't like is the childhood/friend route. Too much pinning in circles for my taste.

Buttt!! Our life and forever childhood friend (⁠๑⁠♡⁠⌓⁠♡⁠๑⁠)!!! It's a childhood friend i would always replay. It's so nice to not be a left side, or to treat someone like a left side. Orrr!! To not be reciprocated an end in a kinda like ntr route (nothing against ntr, but yeah...if i want to play ntr i want to know) ಥ⁠‿⁠ಥ

It's the little moments with him. Growing with him, enjoying life, being silly. It's a man i can always be like to be a friend or be more

P.S. So, sorry i didn't understand well the question. I confused type with trope >⁠.⁠<. But yeah, Cove Holden is also a soft man type, and i don't go normally for the soft one xD

for me, it was the opposite.

i had a favourite type of LI and that's yandere. I always love an LI who would goes crazy and overly possessive with the mc, but when i enter ||YOFY's route|| meh, i found it irritating

I'm not into Genki/super cheerful types, nor am I into sporty type guys... But I really liked Fukami Souta from Love Revo back in the day! He was one of the easier LIs to start off with, and he's always been kind to the MC and didn't really judge her by her appearance from the start. And to top it off, he's both genki and sporty, so double whammy on both personality types I'm not into haha.

I don't like flirty characters, the ones that repeatedly hit on girls. But I ended up liking Itsuki from norn9 and ken ga kimi Enishi too. Not my favourites from the games but surprised I liked them at all. Conversely I like childhood friend trope and charade maniac tomose's route was so bad nothing could have saved it

I really dislike excessively rude characters/extreme tsunderes, so when I saw Sasazuka in Collar x Malice, I instantly thought I would hate the dude. He's rude, snarky, and insults my girl Ichika right off the bat. I went into his route expecting nothing. Color me surprised when he became my favorite LI of the game... hahaha (ᵕ—ᴗ—) he became endearing to me, I don't know why

I don't really like older, frivolous characters, but I really liked Nicholas in *The Evening Bell of the Pious Flower*.

personally I tend to like more the mysterious, gentle and introvert charas but I found Gilbert from piofiore sooo charming even if he's very outgoing. Same goes for Mammon from obey me :D

found him really adorable, and the gap moe was too much for my heart to bear lmaoo

I don't like yandere LIs but I was excited whenever Fin showed up in Steam Prison. Maybe because in his case it was kinda justified

Well, for me, it was Maciej from Beast and Princess. His personality wasn't the problem. It was just the dress that threw me off.

I like yandere and dandere. And don't like flirt, genki and kuudere LI's But Enomoto from Collar x Malice & Kent from Amnesia was my fav routes.

In my opinion, since i usually focus on the character design first, the midget/shortie/bishounen/femboy type is the least favorite of mine when it comes to LI in otome games.

But Noritsune Taira in Birushana is an exception. Despite him being shortie and has pink hair and pink outfit that hurts my eyes >< he's still my fav in Birusahana. Probably because his personality win me over

I love calm, intelligent, and caring men with gentle voices and good looks, who can be scary cruel and have funny little quirks that make them look silly at times. I love Lucas from Virche. That scene from the fan disk where he was embarrassed about his food addiction, my kitten

I usually dislike every chara that Morikubo-san plays in otome (like as an LI, not side chara); but Gilbert from piofiore is my only exception :3

maybe because there are two demon-spawns in piofiore (nicola and yang) so Gilbert looks like an angel in comparison HAHA
