  1. What pulls you first when getting into an otome game/BL?

Like the others above, I vote for the story and the art style. I think the two should be the most appealing so that you can play through to the end.
  2. Do you like the slice-of-life otome genre?

I think slice-of-the-life stories are good too. I especially tend to look for them when I play games that only have bad endings where the protagonist and heroine keep dying.
  3. Feeling Awkward about English Voice Acting

To be honest, I'm not sure whether most of the English voice actors participating in otome games are genuinely motivated to be involved. It wasn't a realistic voice, but more like reading a school textbook, and I rarely played an otome game dubbed only in English all the way through.
  4. In BL games, do you prefer top MC, bottom MC or Switch MC ?

I think either way is good.
  5. Are you a Mobile or Desktop user?

I prefer a desktop, too. I think it's inconvenient to use a mobile phone because the screen is too small
  6. Do you play otome or BL games with music?

I always listen to games with good background music. The games that paid attention to music definitely fit the background, character, and voice actors' voices, so I listen to them without fail.
  7. How do you feel about a guy playing otome?

I don't think gender matters at all. I think it's just a question of whether the game is fun for you or not.
  8. Do you read reviews? What's important to you in a review?

Like many of you above, I think I tend to watch reviews after playing all the games. Even if it's the same, everyone has different feelings, but I couldn't get rid of the feeling that if I watch a review, the content of the review is correct (even though it may be different from what I think)...
  9. Do you prefer plot-heavy otome or romance-focused ones

I looked at this question and thought about it, and I think I'm a story-oriented person. I think romance is established when the story is somewhat understandable. If romance is overemphasized, at some point, there are only embarrassing situations filled with question marks
  10. How do you feel about brother routes?

In reality, incest is probably a target of criticism, but I personally think it is okay to be dealt with in various ways in unrealistic spaces such as games and cartoons.
  11. Why do you enjoy playing otome games? What draws you to the genre?

I think I enjoy doing it because of the story. Virtual stories that I'll never experience in real life always entertain me.
  12. what's your opinion on doomed romance in otome games?

If it's convincingly a story, it's okay to call it a tragic romance, but personally, I think a happy romance is the best.
  13. What's was your first otome game and how did you find it ?

I remember that Noise - Voice of Snow - was the first Otome game I encountered and the last ending was impressive.
  14. Do you remember which character route you played first in your first otome game?

I remember Noise-Voice of Snow- being the first Otome game I encountered (surprised that there was one person up there) but I can't remember who the character was for the first time, but I remember the last ending was impressive.
  15. Which otome game have you started and never finished?

It's the most memorable of the few games that 7'carlet didn't finish. Time hasn't gone by for a few days and there aren't many events, but when I suddenly saw people falling in love, I thought I couldn't do it, so I stopped.
  16. Has anyone else started learning Japanese just for otome?

I started studying Japanese because I became interested in BL games and Otome games a lot, but listening, speaking, and reading are okay, but it's not easy to write. I think Chinese characters are definitely difficult.
  17. Who is your favorite female character in otome games?

I love the teuta of bustafellows. It's a rare main character with a voice in an ottome game, but it was also a game I played because I liked the main character more.
  18. Do you use the Auto Play function when reading VNs?

At first, I wrote it thinking it was convenient, but rather, I felt that I was distracted from reading the text, so now I don't write it at all.
  19. When playing otome games, do you usually stick with one game until you finish it, or do you rotate between several?

When I play, I try to concentrate until I watch all the endings of one game. If I play multiple games at the same time, I can't concentrate well, so I can't finish anything.
  20. Do you use a guide or go in blind when playing otome games?

I used to play without information, but after watching all the bad endings, I started liking watching the happy endings for the last time, I preferred to start with information.
