How much time do you spend on a single otome game?

I don't set a specific time limit when I play; instead, I choose the character I want to pursue first before starting!
I don't aim for a 100% completion; I tend to only play through the routes of the characters I actually like!

Usually it all depends on whether the game grabs me right from the start. Plus I rarely play through otome game from start to finish; I usually have my sights set on a few specific characters that I focus on (unless there's some soft lock) and once I'm done with their routes I move on to something else entirely~

:runhappy:

The games I like, I'll come back to them again and again over time. But the ones I don't enjoy? I can barely last ten or fifteen minutes before wanting to quit.

How much time do you spend on a single otome game? Also, how do you find the time to play otome games?
There are so many games I want to play, but I just don't have enough time. How about you all?
Please let me know if there are any strategies you use to make time.

Hrmm during holidays id say a week or so? But during workdays...man...like a month plus :forsaken:

You gotta be a in a certain mood for otome alas - but one tactic that helped me is making sure I play in the laziest way possible (laying down in bed) with some snacks and a drink. Food is my greatest incentive...

it's about 20-30days for me to clear a japanese otome game. I played almost everyday for 1-2hours with total clear time 50-70h. I think im pretty slow because i heard every lines and usually use auto mode :(

I usually play for about one to three hours a day. When I'm really eager to see what happens next, I sometimes even cut into my sleep time to keep playing. There are also times when I'm just not in the mood to play, and when that happens, I take a break until I feel like picking it up again.

It's hard to say and I don't really keep track of how long it takes. I just play when I have time and I'm in the mood to. It also depends on how long the game is, some games are just longer than others, and how invested I am. Sometimes it takes me a long time if keeping putting it off until later or it doesn't interest me enough to keep going. There are also times when I want to take a break and focus on something else. But If I'm really invested in the game, I complete it much faster. I like to read at my own pace and take my time so I think the time spent for me is probably much longer compared to others.

It depends on the game. For example Olympia soiree took me +80 hours to finish. I usually play in my rest times on weekends. You could also play shorter games if you don't have enough time for a long otome.

It REALLY depends on the type of game. Some are statraisers like TMGS and can take me less than two days (sometimes one) to finish a route, if using a guide, and it's the type of game where skipping is pretty widely used on replaying so the time is cut down further on future routes. (o゜▽゜)o☆

If it's a really story heavy game, sometimes I space it out over a few days just to settle into the story further than just zooming through.

I also get fatigued from playing otome especially when it's very monotomous or overdone storylines so my time slows to a trickle, if not fully stops. (ˉ▽ˉ;)...

I'm an avid criminal of not finishing a game because it's not the right "time" for myself to enjoy it. Bad moods, certain times of the year, there's multitude of reasons that a game one person finishes within a day can take others a lifetime, haha. (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧

It really depends on how much I enjoy the story.
If I'm completely invested in a game's plot, I'll try to spend as much of my free time as possible playing it. In that case, I can usually finish it over the course of three or four weekends.
On the other hand, if the story doesn't grab me, I tend to play much more slowly. Sometimes I end up putting the game aside for a while, and in some cases, I may never finish it at all.
For me, the story is what determines my pace more than anything else.

Sometimes I open a game and get bored after just two lines, while other times I have zero motivation but end up blasting through an entire route without noticing. It swings wildly.
And thanks to that, my progress is terrible and my backlog just keeps growing day by day.

What sorta helped with something like Jack Jeanne, a fully voiced MC, or Amnesia—our friendly buddy Orion who speaks everything for MC lol😂, which allows me to leave it auto-play like an audiobook.
