How much time do you spend on a single otome game?

It takes me about 2 months or 4 years to finish a game or just never finishing a game at all. I am terrible when it comes to completing my games, which is why I have so many backlogs!

When I'm really into a game I can easily go 5+ hours in one sitting, but lately with studies and everything I'm lucky if I get a few hours a week... or any at all some weeks/months 😅

i also used to play a couple of hours daily. it usually takes a week or so to finish a game. It's hard for me to play daily now though, and i mostly read on weekends. I have a lot of games in my backlog…

I work on a computer from home, so I have enough time to play games. It usually takes three to four days to play a game. If you don't have time, you can come home at night and play for a while. If you want to play for a long time, it's better to wait for the vacation to play. It's more enjoyable

If I really like the game it takes me like a week, but I'm so bad at fully completing games, that it would take months to finish a single one. There's so many games I want to play but I never have time..

Depends on how long the game is and how motivated I am. I can go from finishing within the day to a full week. Usually, if the game has more than 3 LIs, it can take me a week to finish it.

Since I work full-time, I barely get to play on weekdays.. After work and chores, I'm just completely drained. But on weekends? I'll easily play for 4+ hours, sometimes I literally spend the whole day just gaming lol."

If I'm going to play, I usually prefer to complete all the routes (all the LIs). Since I work during the day on weekdays, it basically takes me about two weeks to finish a game. That said, if I'm not really feeling the game, I might just drop it after a day or two.

Honestly, it kind of gives me a headache sometimes
There are just so many games I like and want to play.

Most of the time, when I'm free, I switch between 1–3 games that I'm really interested in and play each one for about an hour
To be honest, I wish I could play all of them at the same time… but that's probably impossible, huh? (◡ ω ◡)

I've noticed I spend around 100+ hours on each otome I play.
Even when they are said to be just 30-40 hours long on vndb.
I try to see everything the game has to offer: every choice, every ending. If it's a game I really like I even can't sleep to play more. But still it takes me at least a month or maybe even two to clear just 1 game.

On average, I play 1-2 games a month. But sometimes I don't touch otoge for months, sometimes I play for 3-4 hours in the evening and all weekend 🙃
A game usually takes 20-40 hours, but there are some favorites that I often reread that can take 50-100 hours (and some long games like norn9 fd or hakuouki can even be 60+ hours)

Normally, if I play every day, I finish a game in about a week. If nothing comes up in the meantime, like a short game or one I just want to relax with, I try not to spend too much time playing a single game. Because I have a long list of games I still want to finish, I try to make the most of my time.

I just play whenever I feel like it =)))

When you're totally focused on the game, you may not realize how fast time passes, so I try to finish all my work first. That way, I can just focus on finishing one game in a week xDddd, though if the game is too boring, I'll just drop it and move on.

I like to min max my time by reading a guide along the way. Another thing is my reading speed since I read pretty fast, if the game plot is simple and there is no voice acting, I can finish it even faster =)))))

For short itch io visual novels really short time span, like 1-2 hours max.. But for like really long games, they get over 10 hours easily.

depends on the game and my random ass schedule haha
if the story really is immersing for me, I think I can finish it in a week.
If it feels somewhat draggy, it would take me months haha, I usually played a couple otoge at the same time, so I would jump to another otoge while playing a certain otoge if I feel like it's draggy or in need of a different kind of story immersion (/▽\)

Tbh? Months. For a variety of reasons: VNs aren't my main hobby (although I like them very much), I read in Japanese, I have a full time job and a house to look after. If a VN really interests me I can complete a route in a short period of time, but it still usually takes me way more to complete the VN itself (or most of it, since having little time sometimes means I'll leave a VN uncompleted if I think the remaining routes are boring or not my taste).

Usually, a couple of weeks. It really depends, though; if I really like the game, I'd probably finish it in a couple of days.
