What media format was this in and can you provide a link to the said media. Honestly I just used 'spirit to the Kashimashi' as the keywords in Google and didn't find it easy to discern which one you were referring to.

Although I have a relatively good idea what it may be about, have you look towards the following on the list:

This is the Yuri List, I mainly picked as a basis of the overall theme. Although if you're looking for anything else other than Yuri, the options are wider in that aspect.

As for in similar style plot line, I don't know any at the moment that I have personally watched can recommend. This is hard since I not sure if I'm working with the same material that you have mentioned as a basis of what you want.

Well if that's the case... you're looking for Yuri and Romance. The ones I have suggested fits the bill at the moment. I'll see if there's more recent ones that have been released within the past few years.

That's all I found for animations excluding OVA. So I hope that helps. If you're looking into Light Novels, Manga and others. You will need to ask someone else since I haven't read anything on those lines as to date.

You can also with "Yami to boushi to hon no tabibito" and "Touka Gettan" try, because that are also yuri-anime.
