  1. What do you think about gacha and microtransactions in smartphone otome games?

It pisses me off that I'm missing out on cute stories just cuz im broke/ has bad luck. That's pretty much the reason why I prefer one-time purchase games and TRYYY to avoid gacha otomes if possible.
  2. When playing otome games, do you usually stick with one game until you finish it, or do you rotate between several?

I usually stick with one, if I play multiple at once it's either the games getting boring or some of them is taking too long to finish.
  3. favorite and least favorite tropes in otome?

I never liked the concept of stalking in otome games, it makes me really uncomfortable. Even if it's a fictional settings, I still can't tolerate it. Almost like there's a giant wall between me and those love interest with a stalker trope. I just can't bro,,

long before I even knew what the word otome means LMAO.
  7. How do self-insert players feel about childhood friend LIs?

I LOVE childhood friend plots, so I usually just go along with the storyline and fill in the missing parts with my own imagination. When an otome game does it well, I can always resonate with the emotions and the past events that were supposed to have happened, even if I didn't get to experience...
  8. Any moments when art inconsistency bothered you in otomes?

As someone who started otome games with more indie ones, I have noticed that CG inconsistency happens really often. At first it really bothered me and even gave me the ick mid gameplays, but as time went on, I kind of just accepted that not all CGs would be pretty and started looking at them...
  9. Why do you enjoy playing otome games? What draws you to the genre?

hmm I've been a fan of romance related content like shoujo animes and stuff since a long time ago,, Playing otome games is a nice casual entertainment, to me it's like watching a cute show with you as the mc/ in the mc's perspective. On the dating side, there's also much more things to consider...
  10. Which otome game have you started and never finished?

Him the Smile and Bloom, the guys in the game are all super cute, but the mc is a little too y/n for my liking.. I never got the courage to finish this game ;)
