Yeah i also prefer a balance between the two. Too much story can be boring overtime and too much romance with no proper plot is very weak and can become silly or sickening in my opinion.
I think if ALL characters in the game are voiced i want the MC to be as well as it feels very jarring if they don't. But otherwise i don't mind either way, i like seeing if the voice they choose is close to what i imagined in my head for MC from just seeing them.
ok, so apparntly i've been palying very very normal games so far.
some of these twists are unhinged!!! but they actually kinda make me want to paly these games lol
I like more choices but i can sacrifice that if the few choices actually matter and lead to different scenes and consequences. I also mostly like a lot of choices when it comes to character creation and customization unless the premade character is done well and consistent in their personality.
I haven't really played a lot of games with multiple MCs, i think i played only one and i enjoyed it because the story was so good for all of them. so i guess if the story is good and they are all done well i might give it a try
I usually tend to go first for the broody/ quite/ grumpy/ bad boy/ morally gray type if they are available, they tend to be my favourite specially if written well. ♥️ Then my second favourite is if there is a childhood friend/ old crush. 🙏🏻
Yes, this happened a lot when i was playing Hakuoki !!. I'd be playing one route and halfway through start another save to romance another character that caught my attention and just wouldn't let go lol! 😂
